Into the Dust.

The afternoon light pours onto the reflection of the lake. Dusk is rolling in, as the sky turns into an iridescent masterpiece of violet grey.
A stirring mass of ideas, absorbing and deflecting creative chaos, into the dust.

The final shots from a shoot I worked on late last year.

Fashion Gets Creative

Fashion gets creative’ - The tag line proclaimed by Harper’s latest cover, and really with a team comprising of Carine, Karl, Rosie and a line-up of supers inc. Karolina and Naomi, who would be expecting anything less.
Putting the fantasy back into fashion, replacing the predictable cycle of wearability with the unrelenting beauty of the unattainable, Roitfeld and Lagerfeld collaborate to the probe the imagination of their audience creatively igniting a sense of escapism.

A refreshing clash of reinvented tartan, wallpaper florals, slogan tees and a distinct nod to the ‘60s, the shoot captures the intricate creative vision of two of the most influential players on the fashion forefront.

Babe-Town!

Georgia On My Mind, Photography David Bellemere, Fashion Michael Philouze, Model Georgia May Jagger @ TESS Management

Attitude with an edge of innocence, Georgia May Jagger turns up the heat in her latest shoot for MUSE. An eclectic mix of ‘80s and ‘90s, with a retro neighbourhood vibe and one hell of an ode to summer, Georgia strips it off to show some skin, scrunchie and denim cut-offs in tow!

- M I R A N D A -

Miranda isn’t usually on my radar. Not that I don’t think she an absolute goddess of a human being, I’m just not usually inspired creatively by most of her editorial work. I have a hard time getting past those dimples and the abundance of fitspo images burnt into my memory that force me out of bed in morning, most of which contain some sort of a sequin or a ridiculously over the top bra. Her recent shoot for Korean Vogue by Eric Guillemain however, completely contradicts all of my pre determined assumptions. She’s stepped down from the stilts of the commercial world and roughened it up a ‘lil. It’s got a street style, thrown-together-look with a sport-luxe feel and strong connotations to the groundbreaking shoot she did for Russh in 2012. It feels new and fresh and the almost retro, gym class styling only adds to its appeal.

Backstage Babes

In today’s constantly updating world, the behind the scenes element of the fashion industry has become just as important, if not more so, than the front of house. It’s no longer enough to simply to live stream fashion shows or stare lustfully at the epic editorials splayed across beautifully glossy pages, in this day and age we want to know it all! We want to see the hair getting done, the make-up being applied, the test shots and shoes being taped. The wonder, the fantasy and the beautiful creativity of the fashion industry no longer lays only in the finished products, the innovative developments and artistic experimentations are now captured for us to enjoy from idea to inception.
