A constant source of raw, unedited inspiration, the streets of couture fashion week never seem to disappoint. Candid, real and ever so over the top, it's a fight to "get noticed" whilst appearing not to give a damn!
If there was ever a collection that
screamed the identity of it’s brand from every aspect of its aesthetic, it
would be John Paul Gaultier’s Fall Couture 2012. An iconic representation of
regal elegance and powerful strength, the collection was an awe inspiring
showcase of whimsical top hats, over the top textured fur, ceremonial floor
length capes, fire red lips, sheers, velvets and of course the power pair that
is Wixson and Kloss.
Givenchy took it one step further this season by showcasing an exceptional collection, complete with a haute couture canine, and a colour co-ordinated one at that! Floor length sheaths of brilliance and texture contradiction at its finest, Givenchy created the ultimate secret garden.
