The Gucci Fall 2012 collection was a hauntingly beautiful display of rich luxurious plums and emeralds, intertwined with tones of onyx, petroleum and slate. The dramatic show was a dark display of gothic romance with underlying elements of strength and glamour brought to life through deep burgundy lips, long velvet drapery and sheaths of black liquid sheerness. The midnight hues transcended into looks of metallic sheen and iridescent darkness while the emphasis on oversized menswear, a standout exaggerated fur coat and head to toe oil-slicked peacock feathers, made sure the message of confidence was received.
