My secret favourite of all the fashion weeks is now officially underway. I can't pinpoint the exact reason why I have more love for Paris than the other magnificent cities, there's just something about the shows and the designers that takes it too another level, it's not just a display of fashion, it's a celebration, in the chicest place on earth!
So far we've had a vintage clash of eclectic prints at Rochas in a display of metallic, off centre glamour, abstract prints, oriental motifs and regal detailing at Dries Van Noten, structured masterpieces of exaggerated textures at Gareth Pugh and elaborate visionary creations at Mulger, celebrating all that is Avant Garde.
Paris is raising the bar once again as designers and fashion houses literally stop at nothing to achieve boundary pushing, innovative perfection.
