On the ten year anniversary of 9/11, Donna Karen, a true New Yorker through and through, paid tribute to her great city at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Although, originally struggling with the idea of putting together a runway show on the anniversary of the attacks, Donna Karen honored her city and those lost by not only making New York a significant part and primary element in her colour infused show, but also featuring the following words on the cover of the program,
‘We remember that day 10 years ago that changed our city forever. We remember the courage, the inspiration, the compassion. How we came together, reaffirming our strength to the world. There truly is no place anywhere like our beloved city,. Our Inspiration.’ New York
